I purchased this juicer in 2003 and it is still going strong. It came with a 12 year warranty. That says something about the quality of this product. What else comes with that kind of warranty? Too bad the big four automakers didn't have this level of confidence in their product.
The clean up is not too bad. But that's the headache with every juicer. You have to make some time for it.
It uses two gears to crush the vegetables. This is the best way because it produces less oxygen and less heat, to the juice keeps longer. I had the Juice Man Junior before this and I can tell the difference. It appears that I can get more juice out of the vegetables, but I haven't tested this.
The price is hefty, but you can do a lot with this juicer; making nut butter; has attachments for citrus; and I believe chopped meat, too.
Very nice accessories, too.
I recommend this juicer highly.
