Product Review: Good Neti Pot But Remember To Inspect!

I was very pleased with this kit. The salt was good quality and the the neti wash plus was very gentle and didn't irritate my nose at all. The pot is very nice but my one complaint is, prior to use, I inspected the pot carefully and notices a small foreign piece of ceramic that was slightly glazed down on the inside of the pot. I gentle pulled it off and my fear is that if I hadn't it would have eventually dislodge on it's own due to the use of warm water (it was not on very tightly) and travel through the spot and into the nasal cavity (Not a good idea!) Stuff like this happens all the time and I just want to make other customers to be aware to inspect there pots carefully before use!Product Review: Good product, good value.

I live in a VERY dry climate. I am constantly getting bloody noses. The neti pot has really help heal up my nose. Follow the directions and do the dorky exercises and you will get ALL the water out. Highly recommend this for anyone in a dry climate, or with allergies.Product Review: Good value for the money, like the oils and the salt in bulk, actual pot is just ok

My wife got me into using this a month or so ago. I live in Austin. I have bad allergies almost the whole year round. I take Claritin which keeps them under control, more or less. Since using a Neti pot I have had fewer symptoms and generally feel a bit better. I started with the Walgreens version which had individual salt packages which is just really wasteful.
Well this starter kit gives you a lot of stuff. You get a jar of salt. Mine was 'upgraded' to 12 ounces instead of 10. I have been using the salt for 2 weeks and it doesn't even seem to have dented it. It should last at least 3 or 4 months. I cannot vouch for the effectiveness of the essential oil mixture, but I can say that it really cuts down in a pleasant way the saltiness of the water and leaves you with a very pleasant feeling after using the pot.
What has been less impressive overall to me is the Neti pot itself. The claims were that it was a particularly effective design. Not for my nose. It isn't quite as well shaped for me as the cheapo Walgreens one. But again that might be my particular nose structure. But the salt and oils make this a very good value. You should at least try a Neti pot if you have allergies and stick with it. I grew up near the Pacific so had experienced many years of swallowing salt water. Well be prepared to swallow some more until you get use to this. But the learning curve is worth it.

This was the first Neti Pot I ever used. I was having serious sinus,allergy, and asthma issues. I was slowed down at work,the gym, and in my personal life. I started using this neti pot a little reluctantly at first. Within the next few days I was feeling the difference already. I know it can feel weird at first, but don't give up! It helps so much without all the tiredness of medication. I loved it so much, my girlfriend wants one for Christmas! I would definitely recommend this to a friend. And I have!
