I have owned this pedometer for about a month now and I am pleased with it. I have never used one before so i have nothing to compare it to. I have noticed that sometimes it will add steps to my count but there is a way to change the sensitivity of the pedometer so it won't register every movement as a step (I just keep forgetting to adjust it!!). The readout is clear and I haven't had any problems with it reseting accidently on me. It is great to look at it at the end of the day and see how far I've walked just doing every day things! Also, the milage and calorie counters are great too.Product Review: Price has doubled

For the price, I've had a very good experience with this Pedometer.
I like the simplicity of the layout, and the relatively easy instructions for setup.
Although other reviews on other Oregon Scientific pedometers have also noted this, it would be very helpful if the RESET button were either inset or required a 3-second hold time, as I do find myself reseting it inadvertently during the day. Additionally, I have to admit that the pedometer has been slowly losing functionality. First I couldn't adjust my weight for the calories burned function, then I couldn't even access the calories burned/distance traveled displays. It's happened over the course of 4 months, so for only about 6 bucks with shipping, I'm not too upset by it. I.e. In spite of the dwindling functionality over time, I will be purchasing two of these to keep myself ahead of the problem.
All in all, I am very pleased with this product.

The pedometer works as I expected it to. Found out how many miles I walk a day at work. The only problem I have is keeping it clipped to my waistband.
