Heather's acacia fiber is helping a friend a great deal who has had serious IBS or digestive issues for several years, and she's tried many different remedies and various fiber supplements which weren't as effective or just didn't work before now. I first bought Heather's Tummy Fiber in the hope it would help with a digestive disease I have (it is recommended for IBS sufferers, which isn't what I have, but soluble fiber helps with my disorder too). After using it with excellent results for a few weeks, I decided to add it to the morning smoothy our family drinks every weekday morning. Its taste and texture aren't noticeable, so no one objected. Everyone benefits from added fiber in the diet - it regulates the transit time of food through the digestive tract, stabilizes blood sugar levels, moderates cholesterol, and everyone in the family is doing very well with this gentle and reliable product. I tried Heather's Tummy Fiber. It made my IBS worse. I had more pain, cramping, gas, etc. and I gradually increased the amount. Also I found it expensive. I am now taking Fibersure. It has 5 grams of soluble fiber to a heaping teaspoon and its alot cheaper than Heathers. (And with Fibersure, there is a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied). I like it and will probably continue to use it , but the prebiotics mentioned on the label which say will help control flatulence, does not for me-- I even bought the fennel tea and peppermint capsules, but still high flatulence level. I also like the product Konsyl, it cost less and slightly less flatulence producing in me.Product Review: Gave me Bad Gas

This fiber gave me very bad bloating, gas and more pain. It constipated me even more. Maybe it will work for somebody out there, but not me.
