It's not bad for a design as far as blocking darkness.
but the thing is heavy and HUGE! you feel like you put a small dumbbell over your head. it's also not as compact when it comes to travel and kind of looks huge and funny when you wear it (airplanes and such).
There are other lighter and smaller models that block out light just as much. I wouldn't recommend this one.
