These are nice, easy to use and work as advertised... although i mostly use this for motorcycle riding, to cut down on wind noise, they still allow me to hear what's going on around me with out the 'muffled in you head' sensation.
the few times i've used them in a bar like setting for live music, they've performed just as well. i can hear the music and it seems like hearing the person next to you is easier too... thumbs up.

These are good earplugs to use if you go to a lot of loud shows. Since they're black, they don't look as ridiculous as wearing the bright yellow foam things. They might protect too well, because sometimes it's hard to hear the more nuanced sounds like when people are singing. Most of the time, however, I can hear the music just fine. It's nice to leave a show without loud ringing in the ears and the feeling that you're going deaf.
The price is also good for the 3-pack, so you don't have to worry too much if you lose a pair.
