Product Reviews of Hearos Ear Plugs - Xtreme Protection Series, 14 prProduct Review: These ones work great for me! Summary: 5 Stars
I like these! I have tried many others, but these ones work the best for me. The most important thing is to roll them into a skinny tube and while lifting the top of your ear up with one hand, put the hearo way in and allow it to expand, then let go of your ear. My husband snores so these really help drown out the noise. I change them out about twice a week because I think fresh ones work the best. The only problem I have had, is when I don't take the time to insert them properly and they work their way out of my ear in the middle of the night. They are still in, but not as effective.
Product Review: Too Small Summary: 1 Stars
These things are way to small and fall out of my ear after a few hours in bed. I where them to bed and they won't stay in place for the night. Would recommend Howard Leight MAX1 Earplugs over these.
Product Review: Works - and it cost only a few bucks. Summary: 5 Stars
Most of over the head earmuffs are rated 29 decibels - not to mention it costs a lot. These ear plugs is only a few bucks but its Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) is rated at 33 decibels. You do not have to clean them as once they get dirty, they are throw-aways. You get 14 pairs which will last for a long time.
This types of ear plugs, you do not just grab a pair of them and just stuff them in your ears. You will first need to roll them between your fingers until they are thin enough to easily insert at least 3/4 of its length. The foam will then grow back until it completely fill your ear canal.
It works great although do not expect to completely shut off any noise outside.
Made in USA.
Product Review: best sound reduction (for sleep), could stay firm longer though Summary: 4 Stars
Title sums it up-- they're the best ear plugs I've found to drone out snoring and other nighttime distractions, but I have to replace them fairly frequently to get the same sound isolation, probably once every 2-3 weeks with regular nighttime use.
Still the best thing I can find and I buy them in bulk now.
Product Review: hmm Summary: 1 Stars
the first time i bought these, super excellent, could not hear a thing. but now i purchased them again and they suck! they expand way too quickly before i can put them in my ear and they barely block out anything....!!!!!!
