Product Review: YES! it works and my wife wont let me sleep without it.

It monitors the volume of my snoring and when it gets too loud, i get the mild tingling. my wife swears by this device. Seriously, I am not allowed to sleep without it.
It is a mild stimulation that tells me that i am snoring. It does not wake me up, but i do roll over and stop snoring. This is the key to the device. It will alert to snoring so you can reposition your body. there is a setting for the degree of stimulation will allow for your proper comfort.
The product says it will be behavior modification and you will learn not to snore. The behavior modification has not happened yet. I am considering ordering a second one in case anything happens to the first one.

The first night it worked great for my spouse getting a good night sleep, because I kept getting zapped and didn't sleep much. Willing to try and learn to stop snoring I wore it the next night and it didn't work. I tried new batteries, contacted costumer service, never worked again. I received the Snore Stopper and I think it was starting to work. My husband said I didn't seem to be snoring as much and less all the time. Then the electrodes must have worn out. Changed them and it has not worked since. We checked the batteries and they are good. So I feel that a product should last longer than a month. Emailed the company and they said "change batteries and electrodes" which I had already done and I told them and it didn't work. I don't think they are willing to replace it so I am out money. Loud snoring, especially when punctuated with sudden snorts is a clear indication of Obstructive Sleep Apnea, a potentially deadly heath condition. The snoring occurs because as you fall into deep sleep, the muscles in the neck and throat relax and allow various narrow air passages to collapse and totally block you air intake. Your brain then recognizes an increase in blood carbon dioxide and signals to wake you up, often with a startling snort. You then fall back asleep and repeat the cycle. You never get restful deep sleep and suffer the consequential health problems.
This device makes sure you never get the sleep you need, if it works at all for you. This device will compound your health problem or kill you. You are much better off to see a doctor. OSA is a serious health problem that is not help by this poorly conceived device.

Please stay away from this product. It's a gimic that you would see on late night T.V. and is a waste of your money. As previous reviewes mentioned, loud snoring is indicitave of more severe problems and should not be taken lightly. OSA can cause high blood pressure, memory problems and sexual disfunction along with numerous and more severe issues if left untreated. If you have a problem enough to purchase this product or even consider it then that's enough clue to see a doctor...it could save your life!
