Very dis-appointed. I can't tell you whether the product even works because the first scale that came in had a manufacturer defect in that the balance beam was off center rendering the whole unit worthless. The second order came in just yesterday and the entire balance beam unit was completely sheered off of the base. After closer examination I realized that it was all due to cheap manufacturing, improper packing, and yes probably the way UPS handles the items during shipping. In this case 2 strikes and you are out. I am asking for a full refund, also realizing that it is not really Amazon's fault, but it should be known that they should really not deal with that particular Manufacturer any more. This caused some major inconvenience to a pretty good way of shopping. Other Items I have purchased from Amazon were fine! I hope Amazon takes heed to this message!

The 402KL/402KLSB Physician Balance Beam Scale with built in height rod features a large heavy-duty steel 1/4 lb platform with raised balance beam for increased foot room. With accurate readout and easy weight reading,the weight capacity is 390 with optional counterweight to bump up to 490lb.. The 402KL Physician Balance Beam Scale also features easy to read double beams with slide poises and a 30"-78" measuring rod to help monitor growth.
