Customer Review: No High Fructose Corn Syrup

I get a bad reaction to products containing High Fructose Corn Syrup. I have ulcerative colitis and High Fructose Corn Syrup is one of my "triggers" for an attack (usually diarrhea, pain, and internal bleeding). This is one of the few products I can use.
Also, I abhor menthol! The pectin actually does provide a mild cooling sensation similar to the effect of a similar product containing mild menthol/eucalyptus type ingredients.
I watched a program on discovery channel (or food network ...I was ill) about the "new wonder ingredient" of pectin that was less harsh, strong tasting, etc...So it is not just my perception, but other users as well
