This filter is certainly a good bang for the buck, but don't expect it to last more then a month. I'm on my second set right now, and what I noticed is that after 2 weeks the filter needs to be cleaned and flipped over. Then it's good for another 2 weeks and that's about it. Now, I do have hard water, so don't know how much better it will work for those who don't have the same issue. With that said, I just ordered 2 more, only because this is still a better deal then Holmes.
