I, like a lot of us thinking of trying this product, encountered the dreaded plantar fasciitis while running at the gym. It wasn't so bad at first, so like an idiot I continued to run on it for another month and not do anything about it. It was only until after about 3 months later I found I could not even walk a few blocks anymore, let alone run, without intense pain.
So I did the stretches, did the night splints (which I could never wear throughout the night no matter what), and tried different shoes. But these have seemed to really make the difference, especially since my job is 90 percent walking. After about a week the pain has decreased significantly. Yeah, like everyone says, they're uncomfortable the first few days, but after that I can't imaging taking them out.
So far the pain is not completely gone, and I haven't had the nerve to try running yet (even though i'm dying to do it again, and feel completely out of shape now)...but so far it seems to be going away little by little, and hopefully within a month or so it will be gone.
Just by looking at some of the negative reviews before I ordered, I was thinking that there was no way these were going to work, but i'm really glad I decided to try them.
