I upgraded to this Hoover Canister from a Hoover Bagless upright that I had used for years. With two dogs and a toddler, I'm pretty finicky about keeping the house vacuumed.
So, I quickly assembled the R3765 without the use of the instructions (it was that easy) and promptly began vacuuming the downstairs. Being used to having nearly a foot of space in my old upright vacuum to collect dust and dirt, I didn't bother checking the canister on this unit as I vacuumed until I had finished the downstairs. When I did check it, I noticed that there is only about two inches of space to hold debris, but to my shock and surprise, it was full!
I quickly emptied it in the garbage can outside to prevent dust from flying all over, and promptly headed upstairs. When I finished upstairs, the holding area in the canister was overfull.
Suffice it to say, this vacuum works much better than my old one did and I thought the old one was pretty good.
If it only held more in the canister, I'd have given it 5 stars.
