These are not gummy candy by any possible definition. I believe the commonly accepted term of gummy is what you expect of something like Haribo gummy bears, or simpler than that, translucent colored candy that is at least partially chewy. These are nothing like that. These are more like...lightly flavored beeswax. They are opaque, hard, and I imagine are actually what happens when a real mummy is left in the sun for a thousand years, shrivels up to a chewy little rock, and is sprinkled with sugar. The only person in my house who will eat one is my dog, and I felt very bad for allowing him to do so, as these are as far from food/candy as you could possibly get without violating UN sanctions for ethical treatment. So, if you happen to be a hungry tomb robber in the middle of the desert who will die without sustenance, buy these. If you enjoy gummy candy, avoid at all costs.
