Product Review: A friend to the sinuses

I've been using a squeeze bottle irrigation system and found it to be clumsy. Although it did do the job, I was seeking (by order of my doctor) to find an electric method of irrigation. I read many of the reviews on the Grossan and figured I'd give it a try.
I got it yesterday and immediately used it...I have to say it worked splendidly. On the medium / low setting ˝ the container per side lasted a good long time of irrigation, so it wasn't over in 5 seconds like the squeeze type. Each nostril got a solid 15-25 seconds of irrigation and it was comfortable and painless. Nothing down the throat.
Of course, I only used it once so we'll see if it lasts. I only use filtered water and heat the water for 30 second in the microwave. Having to fill the bottle, dissolve the salt run the irrigation...then refill with filtered and run that through the machine to clean it is a bit much of an operation, but again, if it does the the job well, I'm happy to oblige.
I'm disappointed that you only get 5 packets of the saline solution (squeeze bottle gives you 50) however you can use plain table salt.
I will update this review if anything changes, but so far I look forward to having this great product help out my sinus condition.

I find these essential, given my sinus problems. Each one lasted about two years. Finally, the motor just won't start. Maybe that is what you can expect from a simple $100 machine, but rather than buy a third, I am going to try another model.Product Review: Amazing

I have had allergy problems for my whole life, found the Grossan Irrigation system in 2000 and was amazed at the results. The original unit is still working, use it daily. Try it and you will be able to get off the antihistamines and decongestants. Wonderful product.

This machine is amazing!!! For those of you who have bad allergies, sinus problems you must try this. I have bad seasonal allergies and this machine does the job. It really cleans your sinuses and you can breathe 100% better. I have tried different solutions but I personally think plain cheap salt water works just as good. If you have never irrigated before it will seem really weird to do such a thing. However I assure you if you keep an open mind and give it a shot you won't be disappointed. Afterwords you can smell things so much better than before.Product Review: Best investment I ever made!

After suffering from sinus infections after every cold I have had for the past 4 or so years, I have to say that this product made all the difference...I just had a cold and used the irrigator religiously several times a day, and although I had previously used the Neil-Med Sinus Rinse system, I never was able to clear nearly as much as I did with the Grossan Irrigation System. I got through the cold easily with no sinus infection and I am beyond thrilled! I am now continuing to use it every morning, as I have fairly intense allergies and this keeps my nasal passages clear. Highly recommend for anyone suffering from any type of sinusitis.
