I was prone to sinus infections, colds and flus until I got the salts and the pump (also made by Grossan). When I rinse with the salts at the slightest hint of stuffiness or immune deficiency, I almost never get a cold or sinus infection. If I use this after contracting an infection of some sort, it brings relief sometimes and seems to shorten the duration of the infection. You can rinse several times a day, the more you use it the more bacteria you are killing. It can sting the first time you use it, so start with a small dosage and work your way up.
