Product Reviews of Groom Mate Platinum XL Nose & Ear Hair TrimmerProduct Review: Best nose hair trimmer Summary: 5 Stars
Easy to use. It's made in America and feels like it will last forever. Small and compact so it's easy to travel with. No electricity needed - that's a big advantage to anyone who lives overseas (like me) or travels a lot. And it really DOESN'T PULL HAIR! Totally satisfied with this product.
Product Review: Best product for grooming nose hairs Summary: 5 Stars
I thought the people witting these reviews were exaggerating, but they are right. I have used 3 different battery operated trimmers before and none come even close to this little product. It also feels like it is going to last a long time because of it's strong steel construction. Only time will tell.
Product Review: Best trimmer I've ever purchased Summary: 5 Stars
This is by far the best nose hair trimmer I have ever purchased. I've tried other manual trimmers as well electric trimmers, but this is the smoothest and easiest to use. It rotates and cuts effortlessly, has good weight and is the perfect size. You can just feel the excellent quality in your hands. I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to anyone.
Product Review: Better but not good enough Summary: 2 Stars
I purchased this trimmer based on the glowing reviews here on Amazon. Good news and bad news.
Good: works as well or better than either of the two battery powered powered trimmers I've tried. Looks good, is small enough to fit easily in a portable toilet kit and doesn't need batteries.
Bad: doesn't trim nose hair that well, and when it does it pulls (ouch) as much as cuts. Using it carefully I'd say it gets 50-75% of what I'd like cut.
Conclusion: if you want your nose hair really trimmed get a blunt nosed scissors to trim with. If you are dead set on using a trimmer this may be your best option, but keep your expectations low.
Product Review: Better of with a battery powered trimmer Summary: 2 Stars
I didn't realize when I bought this trimmer that it was a manual trimmer and not battery powered. You need to use both hands to operate the thing which I found rather awkward. It's hard to reach those annoying hairs without having a free hand to maneuver your nostrils. It pulls hairs slowly and painfully. I'm not thrilled with it.
