I love this product, but recently noticed that its main ingredient is talcum powder. Talc has recently been linked to lung and skin cancer. I'm sorry to have to stop using it, but there is just too much growing evidence out that that talc is harmful.Product Review: Works Great, Nice Smell

I think the Medicated term refers to the "active" ingredient behind the minty smell. Really, it's great. This works well to keep active bodies dry without an overpowering baby powder smell.
