I've tried for over 25 years to lose weight, and have failed at every turn trying all the usual popular programs out there. Success comes down to two things: eat less and move more. This device gives you the information you need to lose weight while holding you accountable for what you eat and how much you move. After 4 weeks, I've lost 20 lbs and am on target to hit my goal of losing 65 lbs by March. I spent much more money for the Bodybugg because this item was sold out last week. This is the best motivator I have found. I just did 10 weeks of Weight Watchers, but I think this is a better program. You can (with the watch) easily track your progress for the day and catch up if you have been too sedintary. I really thought I had been active during the day but I hadn't. I am now pushing myself just a little harder. I would highly recommend it. You may not need the watch if you are always close to a computer, but I like checking the watch. I am now experimenting with different patterns of exercize during the day. It is so unique that I feel it will hold my attention for a long time.Product Review: Bought for watching weight but Sleep data most interesting.....

On nights that I thought I was getting 6+ hours I was only getting 4-5.... I am really starting to understand myself better. Calories burned and sleep. The activity time count confuses me as I ride a stationary bike and nothing shows up. Wii walk it out seems to count the steps as double what gowear does which might be accurate. I am hooked to watching how much sleep I am getting and now understanding why I wake up not feeling rested.Product Review: Calorie management at its finest!!

The GOWear fit is a great way to monitor your calorie intake and out take throughout the day. The online activity manager is user friendly and easily downloads the information through the monitor. It also encourages me to park further away and get moving so I don't have a deficit for the day!Product Review: Can't even register the item-or contact the company

I bought this item several days ago and have been trying to get started using it ever since. You have to enter a promotion code, but once I do, it just sits there. I can't finish the registration. The only information provided on the website to contact online customer support is a link that is supposed to open a new issue. However, the link doesn't work - it just causes an error message. There are no other email addresses provided. The phone number for customer service is only good from 9:00 - 5:00 EST Monday through Friday. Unfortunately that's when I work too. I called the number after hours, but there is no opportunity to leave a message. So far, this product is completely useless because I can't get it registered and can't get ahold of anyone to get started with it. It may be a great product, but a customer service department that is unavailable to customers is pretty useless as is a product that can't be activated. BodyMedia, if you're paying attention, please fix your website!
