Product Review: Bad but good...

The first one I recieved was corrupt. I emailed BodyMedia several times to try to get them to fix this problem. After doing what they wanted me to do three times, they never picked up the phone to talk to me nor did they offer to replace the item for me. Then I contacted Amazon and they replaced the item in a heartbeat! Thank goodness for Amazon...thank you! My second one works like a champ-I love it! I got the watch to go with it and love it! Way better than my HR monitor. I love the graphs the program gives too. Awesome!!Product Review: Bad product and extremely poor customer service

I purchased this product and it worked great for three days. Then the armband stopped working. It would not turn on and it would not sync with the software. It took customer service three weeks to respond to my requests (yes, requests, I had to send them three e-mails before I got a response) for help. None of their "fixes" worked. Now, they are trying to tell me the battery is dead and I have to buy a new battery. The product is less than three months old and I was only able to use it for three days and now the battery is dead??????? Are you kidding me? Great idea, but a completely worthless product with absolutely no customer service. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.Product Review: Battery Problem, but very happy with it

Received my go wear fit around the 29th of December, charged it up for 3 hours, and it was all set to go. It was very motivational. The battery lasted for almost 7 days, and that was wearing it at night. Now the battery problem, after the 7 days, recharged it for 3 hours, had flashing green light, and thought it was fine, well, it wouldn't stay charged for more than 11 hours, and then it was totally dead, had to keep charging it everyday. Was going to send it back to Amazon, and they gave a RA number and everything, but they didn't have any in stock, and I really did like it. So I called the manufacter, left a message and they said that they had a couple of complaints about the battery not staying charged, so if I would be willing to send it directly to them, so they could investigate the problem, they would send me a new replacement, and as soon as I received it, I could mail the other one back to them. They mailed it right out, and I sent the old one back to them. They also gave me 2 additional weeks on my subscription as a courtesy. Received the new one approximately 3 weeks ago and have had no problems, I haven't been wearing it to bed, but I have been downloading it everynight, and have only had to charge the battery a couple of times for about 1/2 hour, and it's stays fully charged for almost 7 days. Very happy with it, and would of given it 5 stars if there hadn't been a issue with the battery.Product Review: Be careful - they start charging after your "free" trial

Although this item is somewhat useful, I personally didn't find the online feature that useful. I may have not explored it enough, however I was very unhappy to find a subscription charge on my credit card statement after the end of the 3 month trial. I know this is a common tactic, which I find very unethical, and usually set up to cancel automatically after any "free" trials. This one got by me and they hit me with two charges they are refusing to reverse.Product Review: Be sure your prepared for the monthly subscription fee

Overall its a good product and does what it says, logs your daily calorie expenditure so you can better plan your eating and workouts. Great for help with those last 5-10 lb or if you've fit a plateau. My problem with this is the monthly fee which I wasnt expecting. I thought it was to use their "extra" services, but no, you must pay $7-12/mo (depending on how long you sign up for) to use the gowear. Somehow this amount is also taxed and they will keep charging you until you cancel. Be prepared for the additional $92/yr for their cheapest plan. It's worth it since the gadget is great, but kind of greedy on the manufacturers part since the software is something they could have easily put on a CD to install on your computer.
