Product Review: Apex Fitness Sucks

This is a review of the Bodybugg purchased from 24hr fitness but it is made by the same company as GoWear fit. I cannot attest to the usefulness of the unit since it never really worked for me. The unit is impossible to return if it's defective. I am warning all buyers of the actual company itself and it's policies.
I've owned the Bodybugg for 6 weeks now and it only worked for the first week. For the next three weeks every time I tried to sync the bodybugg it would crash. I had to reset the unit losing all my data. So, I emailed them, received no response and decided to return it. Once I tried to return the unit I was told that I had to "trouble shoot" the problem with tech support. Two weeks ago, I told them no, the thing is broken I just want my money back. The tech guy said fine, I left the unit with 24hr fitness and after two weeks they just called back today and said that Apex requires that I trouble shoot the unit with tech. Wow, Deja vu, is this practice even legal? So, I bought a full unit with display from 24hr fitness and they will not honor any return. They told me that if the unit is not defective they will take it back and resell it however, if the unit is broken I need to get a refund myself through the manufacturer. So, needless to say the company policy on this product is absolutely terrible and I've been trying to get a refund for the last two weeks. However, I have never had problems with Amazon so it is quite possible that Amazon would accept a defective unit, no questions asked, and directly deal with Apex and their borderline illegal practices.
Best of luck, hope you do not get a defective unit and if you do make sure you purchase from somewhere that doesn't require you to deal directly with the manufacturer.

It works just as it says. You can set different goals. It is one of the best investments I have ever made for fitness. I use this with Charlean Extreme. Both are way better than I could have ever hoped for!!!Product Review: Awesome Product

I ordered the GoWear fit Lifestyle and Calorie Management System and the GoWear fit Display Device and absolutely love them. When i received the product i was able to order the online service via the GoWear fit website and it was fast and easy to get setup. I have had this product for over a month now and continue to wearing it daily. ONE WARNING: be serious when you order this. It does take some serious discipline to enter my food daily and also go online and review my sleeping patterns and my exercise for the day. I have suggested this to anyone and everyone i know. I wish more people would really be aware of the calories we consume and how much we actually burn. It is amazing how many calories i was taking in before i started tracking them. I had to change my eating habits which wasn't that difficult but still time consuming. I am finally getting into a groove of using this product.
As for the battery, i am totally amazed how long it lasts. I usually charge it for about 30 minutes twice a weekand it lasts the week with extra battery left.
This is an amazing product.
