I have tried several different products claiming they clean dishwashers and prevent build up but nothing works, except Glass Magic. Our water is so hard that dishes don't get clean at all, unless I use Glass Magic. Before I started using this product, I had to take apart the upper and lower arms in the dishwasher to free them of lime build-up monthly. This would take three hours to complete. Now, I have no build-up and my dishwasher is actually starting to look like new again. Until we can afford a whole house water softener, I will be a Glass Magic customer.Product Review: Not sure what it does to environment but it works GREAT!

I actually bought a new dishwasher thinking the dishwasher was leaving a scummy residue on my glasses and food crud on my dishes. When my brandnew dishwasher had the same problem, I knew is was my hardwater. My husband is a remodeler of million dollar homes and he heard about this product from someone he did some appliance installations with. I got it and it was a miracle. I stocked up on this product from amazon.com because I couldn't find it in any stores, which is crazy!! Some stores should be carrying this stuff. Oh well, until we install a water softener at my house, I will be purchasing this stuff from Teebop at amazon.comProduct Review: Works great

I ahve what I've been told is the hardest water you can get. Without this product everything comes thru the dishwasher with a white film....and sometimes still dirty! With this product dishes come out clean with no film.
