Customer Review: Great thermometer, bad directions...BUT I FIGURED OUT THE TRICK!!!

I read in many reviews that people were having a difficult time seeing the thermometer go down below 97 degrees. I made the same mistake of looking at the blue line when it should have been the SILVER line. If you hold it between your thumb and first finger and either tilt it up or down, you will see the silver line. It comes with a magnifying case to make the numbers larger. And in order to get it down below 97, you don't need to flick it with the wrist, which was painful. You just hold it in one hand between your thumb and first bent finger and tap it against the palm of the other hand gently, it will go down. (Sort of how a teacher used to hold a ruler in one hand and tapped it against the palm of her other hand.) (Or how you would hold a credit card in your hand). Hoped this helped.
