A waste of money, period. I'm going to contact the vender to try and get my money back, but we'll see how that goes. I was so happy with this little guy until about a month after purchase. I did weekly cleanings, and no, I didn't touch the little metal part at the bottom, but it slowly came off in bits after rinsing. After every cleaning (and I'm talking warm water and gentle soap) it simply got worse, and now it just doesn't work at all. Look else where if considering a small humidifier.Product Review: should have expected.

sure it's pretty quiet. the blue glow might be too bright depending on where you put it. it's very small, and it lasts way longer than all night on one tank. so it takes *a long time* to get *not that much water* into the air. there is no adjustment; it's either off or on. i'm not convinced it has a significant impact on the humidity of my bedroom.Product Review: Germ guardian humidifier

This is the 2nd one I have purchased and still love it. I gifted it to my nephew who has excema and using this at night seems to help with this condition. My sister loves not having to purchase replacement filters and the moldy smell in the room is now gone. It also works for 10 hours straight on a refill. This product worked very well for the first couple of months. Then, all of a sudden, it wasn't producing the steam/hydration it was producing. Then I noticed the tank needed some cleaning, so I cleaned it with the little brush and some fresh water. During the cleaning, specks of something black on the metal piece in the bottom of the tank began coming off and that made it all much worse. Anyway, this has proven to be not worth the money for me. $50 for 3 good months of use is far too expensive.Product Review: Does just what it's supposed to do

This is a no frills table top humidifier. It is very small, makes little to no noise and does the job very nicely. The light (one of my concerns before purchasing) is very small and isn't even bright enough to light up our small bedroom. It's easy to clean and fill. I would definitely recommend.
