Although the picture is wrong and the stats shown are wrong, I am writing this review about the Chocolate Raspberry flavor. (It looks like they pictured the chocolate flavor and are advertising the chocolate raspberry flavor--slight confusion for the reader.)
Chocolate Raspberry:
Very filling and delicious. Although we tend to look for snacks at less than the 260 calories per bar, I would rather eat healthy and filling food. The chocolate coating adds just the right touch.
Going by the wrapper, it is USDA Organic with live probiotics, has 21 organic veggies, provides 6 grams protein and 5 grams fiber. It is made with raw ingredients (said to be healthier because all the health benefits/vitamins/minerals have not been cooked, killed, or processed out.) Garden of Life company has been processing a lot of live veggie vitamin type products. Per bar: 9g fat (4 of them are saturated fat); no trans fat; 0g cholesterol; 50 mg sodium; 42 carbs; 23g sugar. I'm not going to list all the ingredients but there are only 2 I don't recognize. Mostly, it's stuff like honey, flax seeds, veggie juices, etc. Sounds impressive.
As I said, it's tasty. It's a decent size with a nice flavor. It's the right kind of chewy--just enough. It is NOT something that will make your mouth hurt or pull the fillings out of your teeth (unless you're in really bad shape). A really nice snack for mid-day at work or for the kids. It even looks healthy inside. I definitely plan to get a stash of these for my desk at work.
