Product Review: A Boost to Your Weight Loss!
Summary: 5 Stars

I've been working really hard for a few months now - exercising, eating better, not eating after 8pm, taking supplements, etc. I added this supplement to my routine 2 months ago, and I do feel like it has boosted my weight loss.

I first saw this product at my local health food store when an employee I trust suggested it to me.

No, it won't work miracles. But if you are losing weight correctly and at a healthy rate, this will help increase that rate. I was losing about 2 pounds a week, and after I started taking this (3 pills 3 times a day) I'm losing around 3 pounds per week. It's staying off, and I'm not doing the yo-yo thing. It's nice to wear pants I couldn't fit into last year!

Overall, I think it's worth a go, if you're into healthy weight loss. Just take it faithfully, and be patient with yourself. And good luck!

P.s. I highly recommend weight watchers online to help you adopt some healthier choices!

Product Review: Absolutely Doesn't Work
Summary: 1 Stars

Been taking fucothin for four months now, starting slow and easing in to the maximum of 3 pills, 3x day after a couple weeks. I have about 15 lbs. of baby weight to lose, eat a very whole foods, organic diet and exercise 3x week at the gym and yoga most days at home. At that level for 3.5 months, I can honestly say this supplement has done absolutely nothing to change my weight. It has given me strange smelling urine, increased heart rate, palpitations, general tension. And of course, I'm out the money - which would have been fine had it budged a single pound. Wouldn't recommend - this stuff is hype.

Product Review: Good Product
Summary: 4 Stars

I think FucoThin has been an effective part of my effort to lose a few pounds. I was on a synthetic fat burner for a month and just was not happy with the results and didn't want to keep putting chemicals in my body. So, I switched to FucoThin. It's no miracle worker, but I do think it has helped flatten out my abdominal section when added to my healthier eating and consistent exercise.

Product Review: It *might* work for you...maybe it's just placebo effect?
Summary: 3 Stars

I started this about 2 months ago, taking inconsistently. I have worked up to 5 pills a day (usually 3 with breakfast, 2 with lunch or dinner - grownup that I am, I can barely manage to take a supplement consistently). In the roughly 8 weeks that I have been taking this, I have lost 2-3lbs. That's with zero attention to my caloric intake and yoga/pilates twice a week (which is very little exercise, mind you).
I am not willing to jump on the miracle-cure-for-fatties bandwagon, but, I am intrigued enough to drop another $40 on a second 180ct bottle. So...do what you will with that data.
Here's what I've noticed:
- I am NOT more sensitive to caffeine, as other reviewers have been. I drink 1 cup of coffee in the morning and don't find that I'm any more jittery than normal. Which is good, because, I can't really function most days without my coffee. Addicted? Yes. I know they have programs for that sort of thing...
- I have not noticed any problems with seaweed pee. I drink a LOT of water, which probably flushes out the smell.
- I haven't lost much weight, but I can tell there are changes in my body. My shape is slowly changing (partly due to pilates and yoga, I know, but it started before I started those classes).
- Since starting Fucothin, I work up a sweat easily...cleaning up the kids' toys or doing basic housework gets my heart rate going. I was hoping that would translate to big losses on the scale, but it hasn't yet. This will be my last bottle. After it's gone, I will have been taking it pretty consistently for at least 3 months and that's enough time for me to commit to something this expensive.

Who knows if the placebo effect is at work with people who are losing weight on this product? Like everything else, I think it works for some and doesn't for others. There are so many reasons why people retain body fat...there's no magic pill. To those who are still struggling with their weight, I highly recommend reading The Gabriel Method, by Jon Gabriel. It's $10-15 vs. $40 and a very enlightening way to look at dieting, weight loss and body image.
