These are very well made and offer excellent support. They compare favorably with Jobst (the leading brand) but are one-third the price. Be aware that these are tighter and therefore provide more support than dress support socks rated firm. That's why these are called "therapeutic". I wear these when my legs feel especially tired and heavy. The open toe is nice around the house or with sandals, but with shoes I wear thin cotton socks over these.
