Product Reviews of Futuro Sport Deluxe Ankle Stabilizer, One Size Adjustable (Pack of 2)Product Review: Easy and Great support! Summary: 5 Stars
This support is for my wife who has MS. She has a regular brace that she wears when we go out but just for home she just wanted some thing easy she didn't have to wear a shoe with. The Futuro support gives that to her and is easy for her to put on because her hands don't work to well the velcro straps make it an ease. The strong stabilizers are a great plus too! They support and keep her ankle in place. We will be buying more.
Product Review: Futuro Ankle brace Summary: 3 Stars
Great price compared to some of the other ones. Not much help until swelling goes down and pain becomes tolerable so you can put weight foot. Effective at stabilizing weak or recovering ankle. Support for walking and most light activities. The side stabilizers have minimal padding. They can bruise bony knobs and any hard surface of your foot. Recommend you always wear socks and add some kind of padding. Use one that is pliable and distributes pressure such as gel pads and foam inner sole material.
Product Review: Futuro ankle stabilizer Summary: 5 Stars
Futuro ankle stabilizers not only stabilize ankles, they provide arch support. Wearing them when I expect to do a lot of walking or when I do yard work provides much relief and prevents further pain from plantar fasciitis and whatever other unrelieved foot condition that I have.
Product Review: Good! Summary: 5 Stars
Feels great and easy to use. I have nothing to worry when using it during my vollyball game with my ankle hurt seriously before!
Product Review: Great Product Summary: 5 Stars
I disagree with the reviewer that claims this brace is not good for basketball. I play every winter with these braces and I have not had any problems. Unless you want to play with a heavy duty robotic-like brace, as with any similar brace you will most likely still get hurt if you come down completely wrong. I wasn't sure at first how these would compare to the lace-up style I used to wear but I figured for the price I should at least try it.
I don't really have any negative comments about them, so here are my high points:
* They come in a pack of 2 and they fit either ankle. Great value considering I used to buy one brace at Scheels for $30...with 2 bad ankles now that gets pricey. If you only had one bad ankle you could swap these out and they will last longer.
* The Velcro holds up surprisingly well. I keep these in my dirty gym bag and I have not had any problems with it wearing out.
* A tip for wearing these: I wear high socks and fold them down to where the brace stops. This avoids rubbing on your feet and legs and will prevent blisters.
