Product Review: Absolutely worth every penny and more!

I'm 60 F with bad joints and especially my ankles have been aching badly just from walking around the house. Using moon boots and other rather bulky supports I have been able to keep walking. Wrapping ace bandages on my ankles/feet was a solution but way too time consuming and due to my other health problems not feasible. I was getting pretty desperate when the DR's eyes were gleeming as he told me that the only help would come from fusing my ankles surgically.
After that shock I thought of trying some more practical ankle supports. These Futuro Ankle supports are the best!! Better than what I was hoping for. I have tried sock like elastic supports and also Full90 Performance Soccer Right Ankle Support from Amazon which I am shipping back because they were uncomfortable and extremely difficult to put on and take off. Those supports have a tight cuff that you have to slip your foot thru and then there is only one strap coming from under the foot to adjust the support - definitely not anything to help my foot/ankle problem.
These Futuro supports are 100 % fantastic and on the first day I went out shopping and spent a good part of 4 hrs on my feet. Instead of extreme pain for the night and rest for the next 2 days I was just fine. No swelling, no pain, and in the morning is was able to wiggle my ankles in bed without pain.
I needed support to keep my foot together - (I have high arches and my ankles feel like they are falling apart with my leg falling thru) - and to keep my ankles from rotating due to prior injuries/surgeries. These supports do just that in the most comfortable way and without any rubbing or other problems.
I wore them on bare feet with sandals. They felt a little warm around the ankle but not to a point of getting sweaty.
They are easy to slip on and very easy to adjust the two elastic straps coming from under the arch for a perfect custom fit around the ankle. I was able to leave the cuff fairly loose so the only sensation of pressure came from under my foot. The elastic is very comfortable under the foot and I could not feel the edges at all like I did with all ACE type support.
I have a large frame, 180 lbs, and a size 9 W foot with permanently swollen ankles and these fit just great. They did not create any swelling of the foot or leg which I was worried about - I guess because the strap around the ankle does not have to be tight. Just snug. They look like they are well made and I would guess they will last for a few months. THANK YOU Futuro and Amazon I am walking again!! I could not be happier with a product!

I finally admitted I had a problem after my third collapse. Third collapse of my left ankle, that is. I'm a fairly active person, and rolling my ankle while playing sports is one of the worst things ever. Doesn't really hurt that badly, but it makes me a gimp with a limp for at least 4 days. After I started wearing one of these, I noticed an immediate improvement. I can launch off my left ankle without even the slightest worry that it might give away. The brace itself is very comfortable, and I forget I'm wearing it almost immediately. The only adjustment I've made is that I wear long athletic socks with my low cut cleats to keep the brace from digging into my skin. A++Product Review: Bad ankles don't stop me!

I have mushy, terrible ankles. I've sprained both of them more than once and they are weak and prone to more sprains easily. When I go exploring or out for the day, they are the first things to wear out. These ankle braces are the best invention! They are light in weight, but very supportive. There are three straps that Velcro easily. One strap goes around top of ankle, then two wrap across side of ankle. They fit in my shoes without taking up a lot of extra space so the shoes still fit fine. I find I have to wear tall enough socks so the braces are on top of the socks. If the socks are shorter, the Velcro has rubbed my legs and causes sore spots. They aren't beautiful - they are black and substantial. They are Velcro so they make the Velcro sound when taking them off - nothing quiet and subtle. But under jeans and slacks, no one ever knows I have them on except me. I can now head for long walks and enjoy the malls and fairs and long days on my feet. I am recovering from a broken ankle and need more support than the Futuro Sport Deluxe provides. After the cast and walking cast, the Orthopaedist put me in an Aircast hard brace (two of which broke within 3 weeks but that's another review). Now that I've been released from the doctor, I wanted to give a soft brace a try. I am probably going to have to go with something along the lines of the Active X in order to get the support I need but overall I'm happy with the Futuro. It's fast and easy to put on, comfortable with shoes and a great price. I'll hang on to these and try them again in a month or so.Product Review: Decent

This is a decent brace for every day usage or healed ankles for an added bit of support. But this brace didn't give me enough support to play indoor soccer with a sprained ankle, I had to buy the brace w/ the laces AND the straps, it worked much better and is actually much more comfortable.
