Product Reviews of Futuro Plantar Fasciitis Sleep SupportProduct Review: Just can't get the job done. Summary: 1 Stars
This PF brace is just too weak to be able to hold the foot in any semblance of a stretched position. The natural resistance of the foot pulling against the bottom strap of the brace simply causes the portion around the calf to slide down to your ankle. This will be returned in the morning as it is utterly worthless.
Product Review: Less pain but... Summary: 3 Stars
It helps with my Achilles pain, I wake up with less pain when I use it. However, it tends to numb my upper foot when worn all night...
Product Review: Look for something better Summary: 2 Stars
I try to sleep with it, but it was very uncomfortable. If I use it during the day the pain disappear. However, it's impossible to stay seated with no mobility because of this product. I will look for another option. Definitely not recommended.
Product Review: Makes A Huge Difference Summary: 4 Stars
I've had plantar fasciitis and a heel spur for 10 months now. The night splint is amazing. Although it's not comfortable enough to wear the whole night, it definitely helps. I usually wear it for 3 hours at night and 1 hour in the morning when I am getting ready. Makes my foot feel great!
Product Review: More painful than helpful Summary: 1 Stars
I could not find a happy medium of tightness with the Velcro closures. The instructions say to attach the upper part about 2" above your ankle. No matter how tight I closed it around my leg (short of cutting off my circulation), it kept sliding down - which defeats the purpose of the 90-degree angle for your feet. I wear size 11 women's shoes (not small feet!), and while the Velcro around the toe area was about the right location, it would either slide off (if too loose), or I would wake up - sometimes within an hour of going to sleep - with the sides of my toes in pain (if I closed it tight enough to stay put). I tried this for more than two weeks and have not been able to get this to work for me. Time for me to look for a better splint - you really do get what you pay for.
