Product Reviews of Futuro Plantar Fasciitis Sleep SupportProduct Review: Heel pain relief Summary: 4 Stars
I am a physical therapist and I found this product an inexpensive way to treat heel pain. It takes several times wearing the product to get the benefits of relief. It's worth the cost if you have heel pain. Wear for a few hours and add time each session. Work up to all night if tolerated.
Product Review: Helps a lot! Summary: 5 Stars
I love this device! It is very comfortable and feels cozy; so much so that I actually like having it on at night, ALL night. Because it is not as rigid as the boot-type night splints (which is why it's comfortable) it does give way a bit, as some people noted before. The velcro does not hold that well so it kind of loosens a bit through the night. Your foot is still more or less at 90 degrees and it does not turn outward but I would have liked to have my foot turned a bit further up.
Does it help? it did take away the horrible pain I used to have when getting out of bed (which is why I keep using it) but I see absolutely no effect on the overall state of the fasciitis. It certainly does not cure it.
Product Review: I didn't believe it would work, but it did. Summary: 5 Stars
When I bought this item I didn't believe it would work but I had to try it. I have been suffering with Plantar Fascitis for the last year. In my right foot for 8 months and then my left foot for the past 6 months. So tired of it. I bought new special insoles, new supportive shoes, did stretching exercises, taping my foot, ice on my foot, took pills, stopped walking and took up biking instead, but still had pain. Someone I know told me to try a boot at night. I thought not much to lose. First few nights it was hard to get use to sleeping with it. Had to play with the adjustments to get it right, not too tight (so your foot falls to sleep) and not to lose (so it falls off). After the fourth night, no pain in the morning and my foot felt rested most of the day. I would put it on if I was going to sit or lay down for awhile. It's been two weeks and 95% of the pain is gone. I still wear it at night, just to make sure. I am now do things I haven't been able to do in a long time, mowing the lawn and taking long walks. I love it. I think it was just the last little thing that made the differences. I still think you need to do a lot of the other things that I did also but this is worth the money.
Product Review: It helped relieve my foot pain Summary: 5 Stars
I walk 3 to 5 days per week. I have a problem with pain in my arch in my left foot. My doctor told me I had a form of plantar fasciitis. He gave me a very rigid night splint to wear. It was too big and rigid to wear when I slept. I wanted something smaller and softer. I wore the Futuro night splint for a week and my pain gradually went away. It is very comfortable to wear while I sleep and I forget I have it on. It is very easy to put on and you can wear it on either foot. It has helped me. If I start noticing pain again in my foot, I just wear it for a few nights and my pain goes away. This was a good purchase for me.
Product Review: It works, and it's comfortable Summary: 5 Stars
I've tried several that my doctor sold me at very hight prices. They were uncomfortable and difficult to adjust. I thought might as well try this given it's low cost. WOW am I pleased. it's inexpensive, it's comfortable, and it's so simple to adjust and put on. I can comfortably sleep with it, move around, don't bang myself with something heavy and metal. This is great. And I wake up with NO foot pain at all. I can't be more pleased.
