I have had several bouts with plantar fasciitis and have used the large boot, the sock and this support. This product is by far the most superior I have tried. Yes it is not as comfortable as having nothing, but I don't think any product that holds your foot in this position will be comfortable. YES it works and it fixes the problem better than any other product I have tried!Product Review: Don't count on curing your Plantar Fasciitis with this splint!

I had high hopes for this splint. After reading many reviews for other night splints, the one thing that kept coming up was how impossible they were to walk in. And, I need to be able to get up a couple times a night to visit the restroom, so I wanted something that I would be able to walk in.
Well, I can walk in this alright, but not much else. It slides down my leg causing the foot part to slide down and practically off my toes. At night my foot wants to relax and when it does it pulls the strap away from the hard splint causing the splint where it curves to dig into my foot. If I make the strap tighter it cuts off the circulation and that hurts. After trying for three nights, I haven't been able to go longer than 2 hours with it on before I wake up in pain.
I have found it comfortable enough to wear while hanging out watching TV, but if I need to get up and move about for any length of time I have to take it off.
Only mildly helpful. It doesn't provide any stretch at all. In order to do so the strap would have to go around the toes very tightly, pulling them up towards the splint. But, that is very painful to the toes. Wrapping the strap around the ball of the foot does not pull the foot forward enough to provide the stretch it needs.

I purchased two of the splints as I figured whatever I was going to do for my one foot that has plantar faciitis, I better do for the other foot in order to prevent the other foot from getting it. Plus I think that made it easier to sleep in them, as both feet were subject to the same conditions. The braces are easy to sleep in and you can definately walk/hobble to the bathroom during the night with them on. The velcro as many other users have written definately look like they will not last that long, as they have very short (height wise) "teeth". My biggest issue with the brace is placement that is comfortable, that holds the foot in the proper place for any length of time. I find I can get the placement correct, right when I put them on (i.e. 90 degree angle), but as soon as I move a little bit the foot position changes (to a position greater than a 90 degree angle). Which isn't ideal but still for the most part prevents most of the initial morning foot pain (i.e. as soon as you put weight on your foot). I would NOT purchase these again as the main purpose of a plantar faciitis brace is to keep the foot at a 90 degree angle or less. Not keep the foot at a 90 degree angle or more - which is what these braces do.Product Review: Futuro Night Brace

I bought this product locally and tried it for 2 nights. It did not keep my foot in a flexed position because it has too much stretch-ability built into it. As I was lying down with the brace on one foot, my husband compared my feet and he said both feet looked to be in the same position. Since it didn't do anything for my morning pain I took it back. Sure, it is comfortable to sleep in and easy to walk in, but that is because it is not effective. I would not recommend this product.
