Some are complaining that there is no Fromm lable. Fromm bought this company and it is an Illinois 827 Russian strop made in Chicago.
I find it an excellent strop and well worth this price. I bought this strop because it is difficult to find a strop anymore with the true linen and leather combination. I love mine!! I use it on my Straight Razors daily before and after shaving. Really smooths the edge and helps make a great shave.
