Pleasant smell. I have an adorable shelter cat, that was extremely timid. She seems to wet on a soft surface when there is any disruption to her household, with the master's bed and pillow and our dog's bed being her favorite spots. She has been checked out by the vet, and seems to be doing better the longer we have her.
If I add a little to the prewash, wash and rinse I only have to launder the item ONCE. There is no lingering smell from the "accident" that would cause her to return to the spot and use it again. I haven't needed to use the second bottle as often as the first.

Use it in the laundry, pour a few ounces into a carpet steamer, add it to your pet?s shampoo, or rinse out the cat?s litter box after cleaning. Fresh Wave Cleaning Additive is available in a 32 oz. bottle. While you?ll be amazed at its odor-fighting abilities, our Additive is not designed to be a substitute for the bacteria-eliminating properties of soap.
