Frankincense 10% Essential Oil 10ml. (1/3oz.) Details

• History:Frankincense deepens the breath. Used to support meditation, spiritual quest and prayer in many different cultures. It has forever been associated with divinity, and allegedly was one of the presents given to the newborn Christ. However, it is mentioned a total of 22 times in the bible. Frankincense is harvested by incising the tree trunks, much like when harvesting maple syrup or natural gum. The excreted resin hardens, and forms so called "tears".
• Aroma:Resinous and incense-like. Balsamic and slightly camphoraceous. Rich, sweet, with a dry quality.
• Perfumery Note:Base. Blends well with: Citrus oils like Orange, Bergamot, Neroli, Lavender, Clary Sage (for high flying spirits!), Patchouli & Vetiver, Rose and Sandalwood.
• Aromatherapy Properties:Great for visualizing, spiritual connection, centering. Probably the most introspective oil. Balances extremes of emotion and restores inner tranquility. Clearing, purifying, warming, uplifting and revitalizing. One of the createst aromas to create a meditative environment. Frankincense is also a great fixative & preservative. Valuable ingredient for mature and dry complexions.
• This product has been blended with Jojoba oil to provide a more economic and less concentrated version of the 100% pure Essential oil. Don't use in applications where the Jojoba oil left behind may cause problems (fan operated diffusers, nebulizers, sprays etc.). In contrast to pure Essential Oils, Jojoba oil will leave an oily residue. If using an oil blended with Jojoba, increase the number of drops you add to your bodycare or bath according to your liking.
