The very first instruction says to pull the strap away from the cuff. I took hold of the strap just like the picture indicated and pulled. The strap came off, but the velcro tabs on either end remained behind, rendering the product completely useless. Upon closer inspection, I found that the velcro tabs were made of flimsy plastic stitched onto the strap. The stitching just provided a perforated line, and both tabs ripped off exactly along those lines. It's too bad because the cuff seems very well made, and I wish the velcro tabs had been backed with either fabric or a stronger plastic, because I really hoped this product would work for me. But I should have known better when I saw the cheap price (as compared to other foot pain devices I've looked at).
