Because I wear plenty of high heels, the slant of my weight rests on the ball of my foot. This extra cushion does the trick without making the shoes too tight as some inserts can do. If you use these, order from AMAZON where you can find the best price for the product. I see them marked up all over the internet, but I buy them here.Product Review: Hoped for more

I stuck the tip toes cushions in a pair of thin-soled stiletto heels -- and suddenly I could wear them! It was such a great little investment -- now I wear those shoes to work all the time, and my feet never hurt! -- Great for those who put a lot of weight on the balls of the feet like I do.
