I am 5'1" and it seem that this item was made for someone who it taller or at least a long torso. I would not recommend for short people. The straps around the shoulders are loose and there is no way to adjust it. Also, the long piece of stretchy material that goes upthe back is also too long.

his Posture Control Brace is designed to correct poor posture by gently pulling the shoulders back and holding them in the proper position. Elastic side panels provide support compression to stabilize the abdominal and lumbar regions for improved posture and alignment. Two flexible plastic stays provide additional support and help prevent slouching. Elastic straps are soft and comfortable to prevent pinching of the skin, and the criss-cross design in the back allows for greater adjustability. It helps to improve poor posture and relieve pain caused by arthritis. Can also minimize a "stooped" posture often associated with mild osteoporosis. Latex free. Extra large fits 38" to 44". Measure carefully around the fullest part of the abdomen. Full application and care guide included.
