I have suffered from Iron def. Anemia since I was 15. I tried to eat well, and take suppliments, but it was HARD. I went to college, tried so many things like the pill to help, but I had it BAD. At 22 a doctor said it was so severe that if I was older she'd give my a blood transfusion. I didn't worry much, but by 30 I had moved and I thought I had tried very hard to keep healthy, but I had my heavy periods and then found out Lyme disease from a tick bite *misdiagnosed as Fibromyalgia so beware!(it also can cause anemia and much worse) Anyway, anyone whose been on iron knows long term it can make your tummy hurt so bady. I tried THIS and was tested for anemia and for the first time ever I am no longer anemic. I just took it with juice, but didn't have to. . . I am amazed. :) No upset stomach either. So. . . wow.

Uses: Energy, Anemia etc... The absorption rate of Floradix (liquid iron gluconate) is twenty-five per cent compared solid iron tablets that have an absorption rate of two to ten per cent. Floradix provides maximum absorption by using the most highly absorbable form of iron, iron gluconate. Floradix also contains B vitamins and vitamin C to enhance absorption, herbal extracts to increase digestion, and fruit juices to ensure proper stomach acidity. A twenty milligram dose of Floradix satisfies the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of fifteen milligrams of iron for women of child-bearing age. more info: Manufacturer's WebsiteIron
