I'm giving this a 2 star for the idea. It's a great idea but the actual item, well... I wanted something to replace having to buy cases upon cases of bottled water. I came across this and thought, 'hey, what a great idea' and gave it a shot. The bottle seems relatively well made, within reason. Problem is, it's more of a hassel to use than I think it's really worth. For starters, You have to wait a few seconds for the water to actually start flowing through the filter. So you're dying of thirst trying to get some water and and it feels like it's taking forever to come through the spout! Also, the instructions say you have to gently squeeze the bottle. More like squish it! Every time I try to take a sip I have to squeeze so hard it feels like the top is going to pop off and the bottom portion is going to crack and/or split at the seam. It's really top heavy too so it's a little deceiving sometimes, making you think you have more water in there than you actually do. All in all, I wouldn't buy one of these again and I haven't looked yet, but I'd hate to see what replacement filters cost. They say it's good for about 500 bottles of water, but, having said that, the bottle isn't that big (the portion that holds water....I can drink it in a few big sqeezes). So again, the idea or concept is a great one, but the product itself I'd say is a flop.
