These cups absolutely suck! Sorry to be so harsh, but they are the worst cups ever!
The first problem I noticed with the cups is that it is virtually impossible to read the measurements on the side of the cup. The measurements are small and have no color to make them stand out.
The second problem is that the lids do not seal tightly to the cup. It stands to reason that if a company is making a "shaker cup", they would make sure the silly thing doesn't leak! No matter how many times I tighten it, it still leaks with every protein shake I make.
The third problem is the ice wand. The listing in amazon.com states the ice wand will keep the drink cold for up to 6 hours. It's more like 2 hours. Maybe it keeps it cold for 6 hours in a colder climate, but here it's 2 hours tops and that's inside my lunchbox surrounded by rubbermaid ice packs. When I open the cup, the ice wand is already warm enough that the gel is practically liquid.
Thinking maybe the problem was just with the first cup, I opened the other two that I purchased. Each one of these cups leaks like a sieve. The cups also get cloudy in the dishwasher. The cups also don't blend my protein powder into the milk very well. A different brand of shaker cup works fine.
So the bottom line is: save your money for a better cup!

I liked this shaker because I don't need to carry my protein container with me to the gym. The space available below the cup allows 2 scoops of protein powder and the ice cube inside the shaker allows the protein to stay colder for a longer period than usual.
So this shaker saved me space in my bag (so I decided to buy a smaller bag!!) and it also helps me to drink the protein shake slower because it will remain colder for a longer period..

My son does not like these at all. In his case, they don't hold enough liquid when compared to the amount of protein powder the bottom can store. For me, they work fairly well for weight loss shakes. I do, however, have a tough time getting a good seal to prevent leakage.
I wouldn't exactly recommend NOT purchasing because they can do what they are supposed to; it just takes patience (and some expertise) to get a good seal.

I really wanted to love these. I love the idea of them, the powder storage at the bottom, the ice 'stick' to keep the milk cool, the insert to help break up lumps.
It works well except it leaks- all 3 of them leak no matter how carefully I make sure the lid is screwed on correctly. I still use it, making sure to keep it upright at all times, transport it in a freezer bag, and use a towel to actually shake the thing.
I can't give more that 3 stars to a liquid container that doesn't contain the liquid. If it didn't leak, I'd give it 5 stars.
