Product Review: Good idea that didn't work.

This seems like a great idea but if you plan on actually using the ice pack, forget it! When frozen, the ice pack expands enough that it is impossible to screw the sections together. If you are able to force it together, it just pops apart again. I would have given it only one star but you can use it if you plan ahead and partially defrost the ice pack. I really like this bowl; however, the spoon that comes with it doesn't do much for me. It's always collapsing. I wish they'd come out with a bigger variety like this one for salads. It needs to hold more lettuce in the bottom and then the top section needs to have dividers to keep cheese, ham, chopped eggs, etc. separated.Product Review: Great breakfast!

I was a little hesitant to buy this because of some of the negative reviews, but I'm happy with it. If you don't overfill the bowl with fruit, the middle section screws on tightly. You do need to hold the bowl while your doing it, though. I haven't had it come apart during transport. I put it in the bottom of my backpack. The spoon is a little strange, but it's ok. I love cereal but at my work we have nowhere to store refrigerated things. So I just end up eating granola bars almost every morning. Talk about boring. So when I came across this I was excited. Tried it for the first time today and I love it. It kept nice and cold, held everything in place well. I thought the portions were sized perfectly. Well, this is all I was looking for but... it's a shame they didn't care about the 'engineering' of it.
I so wanted it to work. Believe me, I tried several times in several ways without luck.
There are many things that can be improved:
1- the material is cheap
2- the milk container does not seal
3- the top lid does not seal
4- and the most frustrating of all... when the ice pack is frozen, it expands and... the milk container does not fit all the way through, which causes the top part not to 'lock' in the bottom part. Which makes the whole thing unusable.
I am still hopeful that they will re-engineer the product to make it at least usable. But for now... it's a big waste of money.
