Product Review: This stuff is no joke -- it works!

I've had hard water issues since we built our house in '99. Clear glass came out with a haze, some dishes weren't clean, and so on. Occasionally I'd rinse the dishes by hand with vinegar to get rid of the film, but it would soon be back.

I stumbled across Glass Magic in my local grocery store, and decided to try it. After the first load, I was stunned. Our clear glasses had not been that clear since they were new! Plates, pans, and flatware all seem to come out better, too, and the dishwasher seems to "miss" less stuff. Even plastics seem to come out better.

The box says to use 1/4 cup per load, so I dedicated a measuring spoon to the job. I use it just about every load, and couldn't be happier.

Now if only the dishwasher had a dispenser dedicated to the stuff...

I was quite annoyed by the cloudy film on my glasses. Every time I took them out of the dishwasher, I'd have to wash them again. Upon searching the internet & the dishwasher manufacturer, they all recommended Glass Magic...What a fantastic product! I was so confident of its performance I ordered 3 boxes.....Alas! no more cloudy glasses. I would highly recommend this product for the "cloudy glass" problem. The only dislike is that Glass Magic has a tendency to clump in the box, but a few quick taps on the counter loosens the product enough to pour it out. Try it, you'll like it, no, you'll love it.

Product Review: Works great - but high in phosphates :(

We've got hard water that has made all our glasses cloudy. Glass magic cleared it up after a few cycles, but it has 20% phosphorus compared to regular dishwasher detergent having 6% phosphorus. Since phosphorus contributes to algae growth, this product isn't going to help the environment. I've heard that vinegar is a natural way to remove cloudy buildup on glassware, so we'll try that next.

We had lots of hard water spots on all our glass cups and dishes, so we decided to try this out and were pleased with the results. It took several washes but it did clear up about 80% of the residue. It wasn't perfect, but it definitely made a difference. My wife and I were ready to get rid of all our dishes and just buy new ones, but i'm glad we tried this product out. A bit pricey when you include shipping. I did see at Pavillions and Target, so it might be more cost effective to purchase there.
