We have very hard water where we live. The dishes had gotten such a bad film that we were on the verge of buying new ones. They had a thick, white, scratchy film on them and looked filthy even when washed by hand before and after being washed in the dishwasher. I started using Finish Glass Magic, and within one load the dishes looked much better. Fast forward a few weeks, and it continues to work and remove even more of the film each time the dishwasher runs. My glass containers are clear and sparkly again and I would not be embarrassed by my dishes now. The dishwasher seems to be running more quietly too, so it's possible the product is working on the dishwasher itself too.
