Product Review: Not for the 'ill-spitted'

I bought this product on a recommendation from my best friend who swears by the validity of this contraption. I am absolutely certain that I used the product correctly to the last spit drop bc even she called/texted me to make sure I was doing the correct thing. I've also been charting my BBT. This microscope tests LH in your saliva which shows as a ferning pattern when viewed through the microscope. Alas, no ferning... I got 'transitional' but then it did nothing different and went back to showing nothing. Had it not been for my back-up OPK (which measures LH surges in your urine), I would not have been able to predict ovulation. The OPK coincided with my BBT charts but the microscope didn't give me any more clarity to what I already knew. The product does say that not all women ovulate every month, but my ovulution prediction kit says otherwise. With no way of returning I am a bit bummed about losing the $[...] bucks (I could buy more OPKs instead!). I would like to think that this microscope works but bc it did not work for me I am inclined not to rate it well. It may work for someone else.Product Review: Not precise

I bought this ovulation microscope and tried it last month, I dont think it is precise, since I was testing with ovulation strips to check LH surge and times did not match. It is important to know every women has a different fern pattern and it takes time to learn to read yours. I would not recommend it.Product Review: Not so great

The light on this microscope is way too bright making it really hard to look into. Also the light button sicks out beyond the base so it won't stand flat (not that big of a deal but not great). Go for the Ovulite instead. I had one originally but the toddler got a hold of it and I needed a new one. I decided to get this one since it was cheaper but really wish I had spent the extra couple bucks for the Ovulite.Product Review: Okay Item

I wanted to save money on the 1 time use ovulation tests, and this says it works. I havent had as much luck with it as I would like. great person to buy from though, I got the item brand new as was told and very quickly. Thank you.Product Review: Once you know how, it's easy!

I was confused on how to use it at first too - but it's actually very very simple. There's nothing to fight with or unscrew. This video shows exactly how to use it: [...]. You can DEFINITELY see when you're ferning (fertile). It's a very cool product. I'm using it to learn more about my cycle and when it's best to avoid sex all together as an extra precaution (I'm not looking to have children right now).
