Product Review: Best ovulation Detection!

This microscope is truly a miracle!!! I am not paid by Fetile Focus to give this review. I just simply bought it and it did exactly what it said. I did not become pregnant yet, but I definitely saw a ferning pattern for 1 day and day 2 had a transitional pattern which means ovulation just happened. Don't pay attention to the bad reviews when ordering this product. The lens on my microscope is a little scratched, but I dont mind it. EVEN IF YOU LENS IS SCRATCHED YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE RESULTS. I clean my lens with just water and i use my finger to wipe it...then I shake it to get most of the water off and I insert it back into the tube. I dont even wait to dry it. It works PERFECTLY. It is definitely worth the money and predicting ovulation...However if you do not get pregnant that doesn't mean it's the microscope's fault...sometimes the egg doesn't get fertilized, maybe some women may have Luteal Phase defects where you detect a surge (ferning pattern) and DO NOT ovulate, or hormone levels are not working properly (not enough/too much estrogen or progesterone). Fertile Focus does work!!! If you use it correctly it will not disappoint. Good luck to all those trying to conceive!Product Review: Cheap but unreliable.

At first I wasn't sure what I was looking for. But once the 'fern' pattern appeared, it was clear it was the right thing. Basically, just look for straight lines. However, when I tried it at the same time as the LH surge strips, this one came negative, and the strips were positive. My blood test confirmed I had ovulated. I only tested with both methods one month, but I am not to sure my previous positives with this were real.
The pros: it's cheap, easy to use and carry around. Much more convenient than the urine tests.
The cons: it doesn't always detect the surge.

This microscope is so cool! I was skeptical at first but after my first month I'm a believer! At first I wasn't really seeing anything on it and then when I got closer to ovulation, it start to get these little crystals. Once ovulation was imminent I had these long crystal patterns, or what is called ferning. All you have to do is lick the underside of the removable eyepiece, let it dry and inspect it. It's about the size of a lipstick tube, lightweight and super portable, not to mention unlimited tests! I would definitely recommend this product to ladies trying to conceive!Product Review: Could Never Read It

I tried this product because we're thinking of trying for a new baby and I was interested in learning more about my cycle. I was never really able to see well through the glass so it was pretty useless and a waste of money. I think there are better products and methods out there.Product Review: Did not work for me.

When I ordered this I was very excited to think I had a "reusable OPK" and I was thinking of how much money I'd save on OPKs. Unfortunately, this did not work for me. I wanted it to work; I had every faith it would. At first I kept thinking it was something I was doing incorrectly but really how hard is it to apply saliva to a microscope? I ovulated a week ago and it showed up on (urine) OPKs and through basal body temperature and confirmed through bloodwork, but unfortunately, I never saw any saliva ferning on the microscope.
I am not saying this is a bad product and I have no doubt it works for others; however, it did not work for me.
It bears mention that I have PCOS so perhaps that it was threw it off. I just thought I'd mention that for any others who might have PCOS and are considering buying it. I really wish this had worked for me, but it did not.
