Product Review: Scent doesn't last! Waste of money.

I had to give this product one star even though it is nice looking. The scent was way too strong when I first attached the "shade," but then the scent was already gone by the very first evening! I certainly didn't expect to have to replace the shade EVERY DAY in order to have scent (which was the whole reason I purchased the product). This is a very pretty product, much more like home decor than an air freshener. It looks like a decorative piece, fitting unobtrusively into the room, and is lovely even when unlit.
It's simple to use... just take the shade out of the envelope, unfold it and place it on the battery-operated base. The scent fills the room IMMEDIATELY, and lasts quite a while. My only complaint is that the citrus part of the scent is a bit overwhelming, and the sweetness of it made me a little dizzy at first. I'd prefer more green tea, perhaps with jasmine instead of citrus, to make it lighter.

I really like this flameless candle. It smells great. A bit strong at first but after a day it smell great. The skirt can be changed out with different scents and designs. I hope they have holiday collections. I also like how small the refills are you keep the base and the candle. No more throwing out huge pieces of plastic to change your scents. Works great and so pretty you will love this Febreze Flameless Luminary.Product Review: Smelly

This pretend candle is smelly. As soon as I took it out of the package, my room began to smell like Febreze. I turned it on (with included batteries!) and within seconds the smell was overpowering my apartment, so I turned it off.
I went and caught a movie and came back. So after two hours, with windows open, only having turned it on for less than a minute earlier inthe day, my entire apartment still smells like green tea citrus.
Powerful stuff.
I'm a little dissapointed that I don't get to leave the candle effect on longer, because it looks really cool. I'm eager for the smell to wear off a bit so I can leave it on all day.

I'm gonna keep this short; I read about how lots of people said these were too strong. Maybe it's that I have a different scent than most people use (Willow Blossom) or the fact that I smoke in my house, but I found the scent pleasant and, unlike what you get with most reed diffusers or plug-ins, you can finally SMELL it w/o having to walk past the unit to catch a whiff. I, for one, am glad they are powerful enough to actually freshen a room rather than just leave a hint of a scent, if that, floating in the air.
The design is unique and absolutely top-notch, with an Asian flair and a calming, paper light diffusion. There are plenty of scents/designs to choose from, and although I haven't tried the other ones yet, I'm a huge fan of Willow Blossom.
