Seems impossible these days to find such a simple item such as a "water bottle" that does not leak. This one is by far the best I have ever had and it does not leak. While they are expensive, it's well worth it, I liked the first one so much that I bought another to use as a gift. The clear color bottle that I originally bought has discolored a bit, not a big deal, but next time I would probably buy the Blue or Red one.
