This splint was to be the cure for my plantar fasciitis according to my podiatrist. The splint caused new pain, however. The cuff around the foot squeezes the ball of the foot area. After 5 nights of wearing this splint, the new pain at the large toe joint/ ball of foot exceeded the plantar pain. Here I am reading Amazon reviews in search of something else.
