I recently had Hernia surgery on 08/2010 and find this belt to be an exceptional abdominal support for me. The back alignment strips assist in a straight in line support for my back which I find to be very comfortable. I can wear my support for many hours in the day with little or no discomfort. Thanks for a great product!!!
